Video Of How To Use The RipCard if You are in the Service Industry.
By admin | June 24, 2009
So Imagine you are in the service industry…. more specifically the Hair Salon / Beauty industry… however, it could also be any other Service industry since the principles cross over quite easily.
This is a MUST see Video Especially for anyone that wants to get more Referrals and not spend a Ton of time and money on wasted Advertising. Not only will you get more Referrals, but you can Personalize an Incentive specifically to that One Individual and also Precisely TRACK where your referrals are coming from.
Let me know if you have any questions / suggestions or thoughts or comments in general and post them below here.
Here is a video I just created.

Actually, it is easier than you might think.
However, the most important thing to realize here is the enormous value of getting a new referral.
A hair salon owner in San Francisco, California got 32 new customers in 5 weeks flat just from handing these RipCards out to his existing clients… he even stopped all his other advertising.
He also found that about 20% of the referrals acquired came from a “few Movers and Shakers” in his salon that loves to talk about what they do and what the like and THOSE are the people you have to figure out whom are.
So when working with the cards, you want to be both generous as to what you give away as an incentive as well as generous with the People that are Actually going out of their way to help you bring in more clients.
And to answer your other question about if you can convert your existing card in to a RipCard?…
Well, the concept of the RipCard is very different in that.
1. It is a Perforated card that you actually Tear in Half.
2. Each Half has a Unique Serial number on it
3. and lastly, you would collect information on the person you just gave it to
It also depends a little bit on how your own business card is communicating your Message / or what it is that you do… The Role of the RipCard is to Engage the Recipient of the Card so much that they would want to Refer you more business.
Hope this helps.
PS… You should check out some of the templates we have on our site to get a better idea of what you can and can not do. Here is a link to that page: http://www.ripcard.com/samples.php
